Jack Black Wants to Retire<br />and ‘Ride off Into the Sunset’ .<br />In a recent interview with ‘Balance,’<br />film veteran Jack Black spoke about the<br />appeal of an “early retirement” from acting.<br />I’m kind of enjoying the idea of early retirement<br />... I’ve been saying for a long time that this is the<br />last movie. We’ll see … I’ve got a couple of tricks<br />up my sleeve. But not too many. I’m looking to<br />wrap it up pretty soon. Ride off into the sunset, Jack Black, to ‘Balance’.<br />When asked if the decision stemmed from<br />spending more time with his family, Black<br />said it was a “big part” of it.<br />I spend too much time away from home.<br />Maybe I’ll do a TV show here in [Los Angeles],<br />so I can work the 9 to 5 and then get back home, Jack Black, to ‘Balance’.<br />For now, Black plans to <br />take it “day by day” instead <br />of making an end-all decision. .<br />I’m not a big five-year plan kind of guy though.<br />I don’t really look down the road. I kind of take<br />it day by day. And if something comes up, you<br />know, obviously if [Quentin] Tarantino comes<br />a-knocking, I’m gonna do that movie!, Jack Black, to ‘Balance’.<br />One thing Black knows he won’t be hanging up<br />soon is his guitar, as the 50-year-old said he will<br />“100 percent” be returning to the U.K. to perform<br />alongside Kyle Gass as Tenacious D.<br />We have to … We will be back. 100 percent …<br />I’m going to ride off into the sunset directly<br />to London. A Tenacious D concert the likes<br />of which have never been seen, Jack Black, to ‘Balance’
