It's the 45th anniversary of Apollo 15, which means I'm doing another live tweet! With a 45 year time delay, of course... The mission launched on July 26 and splashed down August 7, 1971. The crew spent six days in lunar orbit, was the first to use a lunar rover, the first to do a deep space EVA, and the only Apollo mission to release a satellite!

***I've got a PATREON PAGE! Want to listen to a Vintage Space Podcast or get awesome merch like t-shirts? Please consider becoming a patron! I've set up a Patreon account so I can raise funds to buy the gear I'll need to make an awesome podcast and also work with professionals to make better content all around. Any help is so hugely appreciated.

***There's loads of other olde timey space to dig into on Vintage Space, too!
