This shows a discrepency between what you're taught, told and shown in books, etc. and actuality. What's shown in the video is a 50% shadowed half moon. Not a gibbous moon which is about 25% shadowed. Even then, with a gibbous moon, you can not have greatly shadowed moons, if the moon is a ball shaped object and sun light reflector and sun is a flood light. About 165 degrees face to face with the sun from a 180 degree (15-18 degrees off of a 180 degree) line with the sun. This sun and moon are 90% face to face in this video. 10% of 180 degrees = 18 degrees. An impossibility if the sun is a flood light, the moon a ball shaped object and a sun light reflector. Moon charts are to make sure for general purposes, that the general public never think for themselves. And, that they'll go to the chart without ever looking up into sky for themselves. The moon does not reflect the sun's light. The real moon is 10 - 90 degrees off-set with the real sun. I don't know what the moon is made of or what makes it shine. Yet. The moon is a special angles disk. Also an extremely high probable translucent disk.
